Yann François started his career focusing on the automotive industry where he became the adviser of major carmakers (Volkswagen, Seat, MG Rover, Land Rover, MAN, Fiat and Bentley). He was then involved in the engineering business, organizing and advising European Joint Ventures aiming at developing turn key plants in Indonesia and Kazakhstan. He later advised medium sized and major listed companies in buying or divesting businesses in many countries in Europe as well as in privatization transactions in Algeria.
He has also gained an extensive experience in litigation and international arbitration in France, Germany and Switzerland.
Since 1997 he has focused on real estate and developed substantial expertise in this business area advising funds, listed companies and financial institutions in their investments and respective tax structuring.
He is a lecturer for French real estate law at the University of Munster (Germany).
