Marccus Partners renews its management team in France in order to accelerate its growth dynamic

Marccus Partners has reorganised its management team in France.
In order to meet the challenges of its sustained growth rate – the firm has doubled its turnover and number of French lawyers in three years – the Management Committee has been expanded to comprise six members, each of whom is in charge of specific areas.

Bernd Sagasser assumes the role of Global Business Unit Leader – Law of the group and is a member of the Mazars group Global Executive Committee. Christoph Maurer succeeds Bernd Sagasser as the new Chairman, and also chairs the company's Management Committee.

Christophe Clerc and Yves-Charles Zimmermann take up the posts of Managing Directors of Marccus Partners, and are in charge respectively of law and tax in France.

Finally, Pierre Forget becomes the company's new Finance Director.

Commenting on the reorganisation, new Chairman Christoph Maurer states:

“The new team is delighted to be able to embark on the next stage in our development. Not only will we strengthen our core practice areas such as corporate, mergers & acquisitions, restructurings and tax, but we will also expand in other legal practice areas such as real estate, banking and finance, intellectual property, labour law and litigation.We are in the process of recruiting at all levels and new partner appointments will be announced shortly. ”
