Our lawyers advise and assist French and foreign clients involved in the main sectors of activity (food industry, automobile industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, energy, high technology, advertisement of credit institutions ...) to protect and defend their rights in France, as well as abroad.

The IP / IT team provides its clients with its know-how at every stage of their legal matters, whether in legal counseling or in litigation, by:

  • Implementing strategies for the protection of intangible assets;
  • Providing legal opinions;
  • Negotiating and settling conflicts amicably;
  • Auditing companies' intangible assets portfolio and carrying due diligence;
  • Drafting contracts/agreements (technology transfer, IT contract, license, assignment, coexistence agreement, confidentiality agreement, commercial agent, franchise…)
  • Providing pre-litigation and litigation legal advices (invalidity action, patent claim, infringement seizure, interlocutory injunction);

Our lawyers regularly assist their clients in cross-border litigations, before courts of various European states, involving national and European laws.

Marccus Partners is involved in every step of these proceedings (concurrent proceedings, related action, recognition and enforcement in France of a judgment held in another Member State, enforcement of a decision held by the French courts in another Member State…).
