Cosmin Stefanescu is a Romanian lawyer, full member of the Bucharest Bar Association, with an over 10-year experience in providing legal services.
Prior to joining Mazars Bucharest Office in 2004 as an associate lawyer, Cosmin was employed with the Presidential Administration of Romania as a legal expert. Cosmin also rendered legal services as an in-house lawyer for one of the major companies in Romania, being initially specialized in corporate law, commercial, consumers’ and IT law.
During a certain period of time Cosmin joined the Big Four, being an associate lawyer with the corresponding law firm of Deloitte Romania and involved in general corporate legal issues, labour law and real estate transactions, including due diligence assignments, as well as restructuring.
Apart from being involved in various legal matters, including general corporate and labour issues, he has been advising on and has coordinated real estate transactions, including due diligence assignments, as well as restructuring operations.
Cosmin re-joined Mazars’ corresponding Law Firm as a senior lawyer in November 2006 and manages a wide range of legal services rendered to Romanian and foreign clients through the law firm “Duncea, Stefanescu & Asociatii” SCA.
Cosmin is fluent in English, French and Romanian and has grasp knowledge of Italian.
