Mr. Wei specializes in practice areas of real estate and construction project with rich practicing experience and sound legal background.
Mr. Wei was one of the consultants to the Shanghai Municipal Real Estate Resource Administration Bureau in their drafting of the Standard Real Estate Sales Contract and Measures for the Inspection and Administration of the Presale Price of Commodity Houses.
Mr. Wei has wide-range experience in the financing, construction and transfer in respect of all kinds of commercial and residential property projects. He has provided general legal services for many of the noted residential and office building projects in Shanghai, such as "Chrysanthemum Park", "Honwell Garden", "Beihai Mansion", "Guilong Garden", "Shuiqingmuhua", "Junyao International Plaza", "Jinlin Tiandi", "Mandarin Villa Garden", "Rancho Santa Fe Villa", etc and has provided legal service on real estate for global retailing giants such as McDonald's and B&Q. He has also provided legal services on BOT construction projects for Shanghai Urban Construction Investment & Development General Corporation and on APL project for World Bank. In terms of M&A, he has advised B&Q on its acquisition of OBI’s Chinese business; Tong Ren Pharmaceuticals on its pesticide asset stripping; as well as Zendai Properties and Sunco Group on many of their M&A projects. His working philosophy is accurate, timely and cost-effective, and he enjoys a high reputation among his clients.
