Anthony V. Elisio

Anthony V. Elisio received his law degree from the University of Johannesburg. He is a member of the Rome Bar and is licensed to practice law in the United States, England, and South Africa. He handles primarily international civil law, business law and corporate law, and represents foreign clients in Italy and Italian clients abroad. He also has significant experience in litigation and private international law, and since 2003 has been of counsel for A&A from Rome. Since 1985 he has been a consultant for the Livingstone Crichton law firm of Johannesburg, South Africa. He was in-house counsel for Massey Ferguson from 1978 to 1984, and then went into practice on his own. From 1961 to 1976 he practiced law in South Africa, and from 1976 he worked in Italy at Baker & McKenzie, and then at Graham & James. He is an attorney to the High Court of South Africa and the High Court of Swaziland; a barrister and solicitor to the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia; attorney to the High Court of Lesotho; attorney and counselor in the state of California in the United States; solicitor to the Supreme Court of Judicature, Great Britain; attorney and counselor in Washington D.C.; attorney and counselor of the United States District Court, Washington, D.C.; and attorney and counselor of the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
