Roberto Albertazzi received his law degree from the University of Pavia. He has an MBA from the Bocconi University in Milan, has been a member of the Register of Attorneys since 1986 and has been a barrister of the Supreme Court of Cassation since 2000. He is also a member of the Law Society of London. Specialized in corporate and real estate law, he handles credit securitization operations, the establishment of investment funds for Italian and foreign companies, and consulting for foreign funds. He is active in the M&A and business law sector. In the field of real property law, he primarily handles real estate acquisitions for leading companies and real estate mutual investment funds. A former assistant to the Director of the Legal Office of Alfa Romeo, he later served as Director of the Legal Office of Barclays Bank, and has been an independent professional since 1985. He was the founding partner of Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Deringer until late 2000, when he established the Albertazzi & Associati Law Firm.
