François Ruhlmann is a Partner at Marccus Partners and the co-head of our litigation and arbitration practice.
He has been practicing litigation and arbitration at all levels before in regional, national and international courts and tribunals over almost forty years.
Also specialised in international law, François Ruhlmann is a past President of the AIJA Arbitration Commission - of which international association he is now Honorary Vice-President - and past member of the Executive Committee of the French section of the International Commission of Jurists.
He was a member of the NGO’S liaison Committee at the Council of Europe - on behalf of AIJA and UIA - and has as well practice with ECHR issues.
Since more than ten years, he is Vice-President of the European Center of Arbitration and in charge of the Registrar's Office of its Court.
He lectures arbitration and ADR at the University of Strasbourg.
He is member of the International Institute of Human Rights.
He is also member of the International Arbitration Institute
He has the rank of Commander of the French National Order of Merit.
