Expansion of Marccus Partners in France
Marccus Partners is pleased to announce the arrival of Yves-Charles Zimmermann at its Paris office on 3 January 2011 as new international partner and head of the French tax department within the Mazars group.
Yves-Charles's recruitment further strengthens Marccus Partners' tax competence, both as a provider of expert advice and in the field of litigation.
Yves-Charles Zimmermann graduated from ESLSCA (Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées; specialisms in law and tax) and Robert Schuman University, Strasbourg (diplomas: DJCE and DESS, specialism in business law). After beginning his career in 1990 at the Paris and London offices of Deloitte & Touche, in 1997 Yves-Charles joined the Paris office of Slaughter & May, of which he became a partner in 2002. Since 2007, he has been a partner at the law firm of Veil Jourde.
Yves-Charles Zimmermann's main areas of specialism are the tax and related financial aspects of French and international M&A transactions, LBO, real estate projects and the restructuring of enterprises, both listed and non-listed. He is also a specialist in corporate tax law, including tax litigation and capital and assets legislation.
